Interesting video and chat here. I see many patients in Denver Colorado for acupuncture and accept insurance, so not sure why people think acupuncture treatment isn’t covered by health insurance.

It’s also important to hear what other people who have tried acupuncture have to say about if it worked for their problem.

The placebo effect means that the positive effects of the treatment (healing and recovering) were created by the mind, thus the body healed itself. If acupunture is creating the placebo effect in the patient and the patient is healed, then there are still positive results, though not from the needles. The point of acupunture is to heal people… whether that healing is from the needles, the idea of the needles or the ideas behind the treatment, positive results are seen….

I have not had good responses to it. It has not ever helped me, but I have friends who SWEAR by it. Give it a shot…you have nothing to lose. It cannot hurt you.

My dog wont bath either. My dog fears water like crazy. I have to chain him to the deck and bath him. He hates it but I have no other way of doing it.

I believe you have to do it at the doctor’s clinic with a valid reason. I’ve heard once that a married woman who got pregnant by another man begged the Chinese herbal doctor to prescribe her some abortion herbs… and he refused her flat out. It’s very immoral to be doing this without the doctor’s consent.
