A New Breakthrough In Anti-aging Skin Care, The Secret Is Out!
A License to Stretch the Truth on Your Age
If you feel like you’ve tried every skin care product on the market and for the most part, are not satisfied with the results, you’re not alone. But, don’t give up just yet…
What’s your real motivation? What solutions are you searching for that brought you here today?
Hi my name is Wendelynn Kohn, thanks for visiting my blog. For me, it was my eyes…
All my life I was told I had beautiful dark brown eyes. Then one day I looked in the mirror and thought, WOW, you look really tired and it’s only 8 o’clock in the morning. What’s different? What’s causing my eyes to look so tired and old? Lines are not it; I don’t have any “crow’s feet”… I stared at the mirror for a few more minutes and said to myself: “That’s it; the bags under my eyes are darker and puffier than ever before.” I put on some extra concealer that morning and went on with the rest of my day, but I kept thinking about it all day long. My eyes didn’t look that bad yesterday morning…?
So that same night, I hit the Internet and started searching. I spent hours on WebMD, trying to find a possible alternative condition, to just simply “getting older”. No such luck! I continued my search and that’s when I found LifeCell. I read every single word on the web site. I saved the site to my favorites and went back the next day and read it again. As I searched for other products, I noticed one important thing… the other products provided little to no real explanation for how and why they worked. For some, LifeCell may actually provide too much information and scientific proof, but for me, that’s what made the difference and made me hit the “buy now” button – NO SECRETS!
LifeCell actually has people postponing and canceling their injection and cosmetic surgery appointments. And, here’s why…
There are critical differences between LifeCell and other products on the market today. We “look old” because of wrinkles, lines, skin blotchiness, age-spots, loss of skin radiance, sagging skin (a big one), “feather” lips, under-eye puffiness (a dead give-away), crow’s feet and thinning lips. From a scientific point-of-view, skin-aging is caused by: free-radical damage, changes in fat content of skin, changes in skin collagen, dehydration, DNA changes, degradation of the elastin polypeptides and certain disorders in the packing of the lipid matrix of the skin.
So the bottom-line… Unless the product(s) attack all these sign of aging and the biological changes associated with getting older, they will not work in the long term. Each product is simply a quick fix for one specific problem. I don’t know about you, but I really don’t want to find myself using 10 – 15 different anti-aging skin care products at once.
Now that leads us to the cost of LifeCell…
Yes, it’s in a higher price range, but when compared to higher end products, it is competitively priced and offers so much more. Use this as a guideline to follow: LifeCell, will replace all of the following for you: 24 hour moisturizer, firming serum, under-eye cream, anti-wrinkle cream, night cream, day cream, age-spot reducer, lip treatment and so on… Ok… Now take a minute and add up the cost of all the products you are currently buying that fall into these categories. How does it compare? Are you satisfied with your results? In the end, most of my clients and prospects, agree… price is not an issue.
How well does it work? From my own personal experience, I started seeing results within 24 hours. I’m going to give myself a few weeks and then I’ll post my photos. I want people to see the dramatic results.
Numerous case studies, personal testimonials, photos and videos providing proven results are available at the website.
LifeCell truly is the world’s first ALL-IN-ONE Antiaging Skin Care Treatment.
It’s a Fast-Acting Anti-Wrinkle-Cream, Firming-Cream, 24-Hour Moisturizer, Age-Spot Reducer, Corrective Under-Eye Treatment, Lip-Plumper and Makeup Base! All you need is this one wonderful anti-aging skin care treatment on your dresser. You can practically throw away all the others and replace all of them with LifeCell!
“Seeing is believing”! Learn more about LifeCell today… I highly recommend it.
This article was written as a result of a conversation with my wonderful wife and business partner.
God Bless and Remember to always make it a great day!

Exercise Your Brain Today to Keep it Sharp

Several large studies have found a less risk for developing Alzheimer’s disease in intellectually actively people compared with their mentally inactive peers. And the mental activity can take many forms, such as reading, working jigsaw puzzles, woodworking, printing, knitting and playing board games. Some studies have even found that people with mentally demanding jobs, professionals, managers, etc experience less memory decline as they age when compared with their counterparts who have less demanding jobs.
In a study with 500 elderly, they were asked how often they participated in leisure activities like dancing, playing chess, card games or doing crossword puzzles. Over the years, the scientists kept records of those who developed mild memory loss or full-blown dementia. They found that the people who were the most active mentally had a 63 percent lower risk of getting dementia compared with those who rarely played board games, read, or did similar activities. The people who played the most had the most protection, doing crossword puzzles four days each week translated into 47 percent lower risk of dementia compared with once a week puzzle solvers. For each day of the week that people exercised their minds, the researchers found nearly a 10 percent reduction in the risk for dementia.
Other studies indicate that mental activity earlier in life is beneficial as well. The rate for developing Alzheimer’s disease was three times lower in people who had been intellectually active during their forties and fifties compared with those who had not. Even mental activity as early as one’s twenties will mean better cognitive function late in life. This means that college graduates have a lower risk for developing Alzheimer’s disease than those who never get beyond a high school education.
Experts believe that one reason solving puzzles and other forms of mental stimulation help lower the risk for dementia is that people develop a “cognitive reserve” that allows them to tolerate more damage from Alzheimer’s and other brain diseases. A recent study suggests that it’s not how much brain you have, but how you use it that makes the difference. The investigators tested 19 people with a range of IQs from below to above average. Participants performed memory tasks while the investigators measured their brain activity patterns during functional MRI scans.
The scans showed more activity in the frontal lobes of people with higher intelligence. These same investigators also have demonstrated the brain-protective effects of education. These findings show that more intelligent and better educated people use their brains differently than those without these benefits, and this may help explain why keeping the mind active helps protect against the onset of Alzheimer’s disease.
Mental calisthenics may not only keep our brain ells healthy, but they may also help them grow. New research suggests that the brain can actually rewire itself and grow new cells, a process known as neurogenesis, believed impossible until the last few decades. Research by the Princeton University has shown that laboratory animals continue to produce new brain cells in the hippocampus, that sea horse shaped formation beneath the temple. Studies have shown that such neurogenesis can occur in humans as well. Neurogenesis may be an important aspect of memory and learning. In animal studies, they have found that enriched environments are associated with greater numbers of synapses or cell communication links in the brains memory centers. And, when running through their mazes and completing other memory tests, the stimulated animals appear more intelligent. These kinds of studies have led many researchers to believe that routine mental exercise stimulates existing connections between neurons and leads to new neuronal connections in the brain. This in turn will improve memory and brain performance.
Even in the face of this and other compelling evidence for the protective benefits of mental exercise, memory training and memorization techniques, there are still skeptics who believe that mental activity has little or no effect on the rate at which our brains age. However, even without absolute proof of cause and effect, the risks of staying mentally active are minimal, and the potential gains great. In the words, remaining mentally active and practicing mental exercises can’t hurt. It can also enrich our lives.
Studies on mental exercises have shown that the tasks must involve an element of effort. They can be diverse and can include any of a number of activities reading, working jigsaw puzzles, woodworking, painting, knitting, or playing board games. You may prefer learning a language or reading a challenging novel or biography or learning a memorization technique as memory training Evidence indicates that the “fun factor” keeps us coming back for more, and that is what you want – to sustain the activity over time. Epidemiological studies suggest that we need to develop a regular habit of mental calisthenics, and that years of activity may be needed to obtain optimum effect.

Skin Care Secrets (part 1)
In this article, we look at some statements made by an author (whom I will not name) of a skin care book and review how valid these are. Skin care secrets are not secrets at all. Most of the time skin care is simple common sense. Unfortunately common sense is not very common…
Author’s statement – Skin care secret #1: You can clean your skin, but you can’t “deep-clean” it.
Comment: Anyone reading our article on natural facial clays knows the author of the above statement is not a ‘deep-thinker’. Clays draw toxins and other waste materials lodged in the pores of the skin out and are more effective than any water-soluble cleansers. The properties of Green Clay for example are very powerful in drawing toxins, micro-organisms and even bacteria into the clay for easy removal. This is why Green Clay products are often used to treat skin conditions such as acne.
Author’s statement – Skin care secret #2: Dry skin doesn’t wrinkle any more or less than oily skin.
Comment: Dehydration can reduce the water content of the skin from 70.6 to 65.85% (1). Therefore, it stands to reason that as the water is taken from skin cell, they tend to become flaccid and result in wrinkles. Using moisturisers that hold moisture in the skin rather than allowing the moisture to be lost, is definitely sensible and recommended by most dermatologists. In addition, good quality, natural moisturising creams not only help to keep moisture in the skin, but also provide vital nourishment in the form of plant nutrients for the skin to utilise.
Furthermore, dehydration is associated with changes in the appearance of the skin. In mild dehydration the skin may appear flushed, dry and loose, with a loss of elasticity (2,3). Obviously, loose skin is more likely to appear wrinkled than firm, well hydrated skin.
As I’ve stated in many of my articles, drinking 2-3 litres of water every day is paramount and indeed no moisturiser in the world can substitute for drinking water. In addition, dry skin tends to become irritated and easily inflamed potentially leading to eczema or dermatitis. Using a moisturiser will help to reduce the irritation and itching caused by dry skin and may prevent the complication of developing more sever skin conditions.
Author’s statement – Skin care secret #3: A great number of skin-care problems are caused by the skin-care products used to prevent them.
Comment: Absolutely true. Many commercially available skin care products contain an extraordinary amount of chemicals in them. Many of these are deemed hazardous to our health. I’ve written an article that lists 10 commonly used chemicals in expensive brands of skin care products, all of which science has shown to be potentially harmful to our health. Read Toxic Ingredients in Skin Care Products if you wish to have a look at these ingredients.
Author’s statement – Skin care secret #4: Getting a tan is foolish. If you are exposed to the sun, even for as little as 10 to 20 minutes a day, which includes walking to your car or talking to a neighbor outdoors, that cumulative exposure over the years will wrinkle your skin.
Comment: Rubbish. Your skin needs a small amount of exposure to be able to synthesise Vit. D. In addition, your skin is well armed to handle some limited exposure to the sun unless you are suffering from albumism.
Obviously nobody should spend hours in full sun, especially in summer, without covering their body using some sun protection and keeping well hydrated. However, if you expose your body’s skin to sunlight before 10:00 am or after 4:00pm (during Summer) the intensity of the radiation is much less than during the mid-day hours. If you keep your skin exposure to under 15 minutes during this time, you are not likley to get burned and your skin will have a chance to make that vitamin D you need for you.
So there you have it. The secret to good skin care is simple common sense prevailing over marketing hype, and when combined with a little knowledge you can quickly determine what is right and what it hype.

Alternatives to Traditional Medical Treatment
July 30, 2008 by admin
Filed under Natural & Homeopathic Remedies
If you have been undergoing traditional medical treatment for an ailment and it has not alleviated the symptoms, you may want to consider an alternative form of treatment. It is wise to do so after consultation with your medical practitioner, many doctors are now seeing the benefits that can be obtained by using a more natural and wholistic approach to disease and illness. If your doctor dismisses all forms of alternative therapy as “quackery” then it may be time to find a new doctor.
Alternative therapy practices have gained much more respect over the past few years and many people have had almost miraculous cures. There are a great many choices now available within the alternative medical world with almost as many treatments as there are practitioners. It is important when choosing a medical treatment plan that you research the alternatives as thoroughly as you can. There are many different treatment options, including those from traditional medicine, that you will need to choose from to suit your body.
One of the most common and widely accepted alternatives is chiropractic for back pain, spinal and general wellbeing. Acupuncture and acupressure have also become very popular and are now accepted by many as effective ways of treating illness and pain. Herbal remedies and Chinese herbal medicines are now being taken in place of many medications as are homeopathic remedies.
Detox diet’s are a great way to improve general wellbeing for those who do not want to use, or wish to reduce, the medicines and other prescribed items which often contain harmful chemicals and can have nasty side effects.
Some alternative therapies focus on touch. These include massage, Rolfing, Reiki, and therapeutic touch. Other alternative therapy treatments involve your other senses such as aromatherapy (sense of smell); color therapy and light therapy (sense of sight) and music and sound therapy will involve your sense of hearing.
Prayer or meditation can also be of great benefit. As can the use of yoga, hypnosis, magnetic therapy, polarity therapy, apitherapy, and biofeedback. There are many other alternatives available as well and your doctor should have some knowledge of them. Not all therapies will be suitable or will work for you, everyone is different.
Finding a good alternative therapy practitioner can be tricky you must find a professional to do the treatment. You need to watch out for those who are not certified or qualified to provide the service. In most cases, practicing without certification is against the law. You need to do your research and then shop around for the best prices. Ask your doctor to recommend an alternative treatment and reputable practitioner.
Remember word of mouth is usually the best way to find a good therapy provider. Talk to your family, friends and colleagues about local providers. The internet is a good source for information and reviews on different alternative therapies available. Some Government agencies may be able to give you information on whether a particular therapy practice has had any complaints made against it. Good health care is vitally important and you need to make the most informed decisions you can.

The Point Of Treating Acne With Acupuncture
July 26, 2008 by admin
Surprisingly, no. Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years in China and the East, and one of the benefits is that the skin tends to clear up. Some with painful cystic acne that can leave scars find long lasting help treating acne with acupuncture. Your pimples or cysts are’t usually punctured by the special, slender acupuncture needles. You usually get treatment on your ear.
It Is For Real
At one time, Western medical circles were very skeptical of the Chinese practice of acupuncture (inserting needles into special places on the body called acupuncture pionts). But after decades of study, it is starting to be embraced (albeit carefully) by conventional as well as alternative healers around the world. Although it looks very painful, a trained acupuncturist knows where to insert the needles painlessly. Acupuncture works for animals, even the notoriously skittish Thoroughbred racehorse, often making the animal go into a deep state of relaxation.
Like a lightning rod attracts and directs the immense power of lightning, so an acupuncture needle attracts and re-directs the energy currents of the body. An acupuncture treatment can zone in on one specific area of complaint, but often you are asked about your entire medical history so your whole body can be worked. Acupuncture is called a holistic form of treatment, since your entire body, emotions and stress levels are also seen as having powerful effects on your health. Treating acne with acupuncture is not as far-fetched as it might first sound.
The Finer Details
It is thought that hormone imbalance can cause the body secrete more oils than it really should. Treating acne with acupuncture can help regulate your body’s hormone output, and thus make your skin clearer. Treating acne with acupuncture isn’t a magic cure-all, though. You still have to eat a balanced diet, wash yourself consistently and avoid heavy makeup or products that might irritate your skin.
Sometimes treating acne with acupuncture can be covered by some health insurance, but often it isn’t. Keep the costs in mind, as well as your doctor or dermatologists advice, when considering treating your acne with acupuncture. Even acupuncturists say that the best way to combat acne is by preventative means. Your doctor or dermatologist might even know of an acupuncturist to recommend to you. You may have to go for as many as twenty or thirty treatments. Acupuncture can also help with other skin diseases like psoriasis, dermatitis and warts.
